Grandma’s Chicken Soup, Jan 2020

1 1/2 large onions, whole and peeled
4 large carrots, chopped into1” pieces
1lb. drumsticks
3/4 lb. chicken feet
2 bay leaves
1/4 bunch Italian parsley, fresh
1/2 tsp.peppercorns
3 Tbsp. + 1 tsp. Original NOBULL Scratch Starter Concentrate
8 cups water, cold
black pepper, freshly ground (optional)

Place all ingredients in a large stockpot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer for 2 hours, covered. Strain chicken stock through fine mesh sieve into a large stock pot. Remove meat from drumsticks and add back into soup, along with carrots and onions if desired. Add additional NOBULL and ground black pepper to taste.

Yield: 6-8 servings
