Can be served over rice or on a sandwich!
1 (4 lb.) pork shoulder
2 T. oil
1 large onion, medium dice
5 Tbsp. NOBULL Umami Mushroom Scratch Starter Concentrate
1 ½ c. water
Cut pork into 2-inch cubes. In a large sauce pan (or Dutch oven), over medium heat, brown pork in batches adding oil as needed to prevent sticking. Set pork aside. Add any remaining oil and sauté onions until translucent. Add pork and NOBULL Umami Mushroom Scratch Starter Concentrate to pot, stir to combine with onions and pour water over top. Cover with a lid, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer 2.5 - 3 hours until meat pulls apart easily with a fork. Adjust with additional and NOBULL Umami Mushroom Scratch Starter Concentrate to taste.
Serves: 6-8 people
