Cauliflower Wings, April 2019

NOBULL Cauliflower Wings 

Roasting the cauliflower: 

1 large head cauliflower, cut into bite-size florets 

1 tbsp. NOBULL Umami Mushroom Scratch Starter 

4 tbsp. olive oil 

The sauce: 

2 tbsp. sesame oil 

2 tbsp. soy sauce or tamari 

1 tbsp. NOBULL Umami Mushroom Scratch Starter 

4 tbsp. sriracha 

1 tsp. rice wine vinegar 

4 tbsp. peanut butter (or 2 tbsp. peanut butter & 2 tbsp. tahini paste) 

2 garlic cloves, minced 

1 tbsp. maple syrup or brown sugar 

2 tsp. smoked paprika 

1/8-1/4 tsp. cayenne 

Procedure: 

Roast the cauliflower 

Preheat oven to 450. 

Combine olive oil and 1 tbsp. NOBULL Umami Mushroom Scratch Starter. 

Toss cauliflower with NOBULL-oil mixture. 

Place on a baking sheet. 

Roast until caramelized and tender, approximately 30 minutes. 

Make the sauce 

While cauliflower is roasting, combine remaining ingredients. 

Note: placing all sauce ingredients in a jar and simply shaking to combine makes this quick and easy. 

Combine the cauliflower and sauce 

Place roasted cauliflower in a bowl.  

Toss with 3/4 of the sauce. 

Return to the oven for 5 minutes.  

Place cauliflower in a bowl.  

Toss to coat with remaining sauce.  

Serve immediately. 

 

Note: this can also be made in an air fryer
