Beef Stroganoff 


1  lb. Sirloin steak, cut into 1″ strips 

1 oz. butter 

¼ cup onion, minced 

1 cloves garlic, minced 

½  lbs. mushrooms, sliced  

¼ cup lemon juice 

4 teaspoons Umami Mushroom NOBULL Scratch Starter Concentrate 

2 cups water 

1 cup sour cream 

2 teaspoons Original NOBULL Scratch Starter Concentrate 

Cooked egg noodles 


In sauté pan, brown beef in butter. 

Add onion and garlic, cook until aromatic. 

Add mushrooms and lemon juice, cook until mushrooms begin to soften 

Whisk Umami Mushroom NOBULL Scratch Starter Concentrate into the water, add to pan. 

Bring to a simmer, cover pan part way and cook until steak is tender–approximately 15 minutes.  

Reduce heat to low, stir in sour cream and Original NOBULL Scratch Starter Concentrate.  

Continue to stir until warmed through and slightly thickened. 

Adjust with additional NOBULL as needed.  

Serve over egg noodles. 

 Yield: 4 servings
